What a great picture and I hope that they will stay friends forever!
I have one like that with my best girlfriend in black and white too but we didn't win a prize but it is one of the few pictures we still have from so long ago (almost 60 yeas ago).
We both remember the moment very well when it was taken because it was so special after a beautiful biking trip in Holland in the spring and the ocean will do that too for the two young girls if they stay good friends for many years to come.
Congratulations for winning the contest and I agree that this picture is beautiful and is telling a story of a special moment they shared together.
PS. Your daughter is beautiful!

Cute.
I was wondering what at Red Lobster your daughter's picture resembled.

Red Lobster Biscuits
True lobster fanatics might have a hard time admitting to a trip to the seafood chain restaurant Red Lobster, but even the snobbiest of foodies will admit that their biscuits are unexpectedly amazing. Here’s a simple recipe for the addictive cheddar biscuits – a perfect addition to any homemade lobster feast.
Red Lobster Biscuts
Ingredients
• 2 cups Bisquick, buttermilk baking mix
• 2/3 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
• 2/3 cup milk
• 1/4 cup melted butter
• 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Preparation
• Preheat oven to 450 degrees
• Mix cheese, biscuit mix and milk in a bowl until a soft dough is formed
• Knead the dough for 60 seconds (or about 10 times)
• Drop the dough by the spoonful onto a non-greased cookie sheet
• Bake 8-10 minutes or until golden brown
• Dress the hot biscuits with melted butter and a sprinkle of garlic powder
• Serve and enjoy!Lawren

OMG, Lawren. I've been avoiding looking for copycat recipes for those damn biscuits for years! We call them crack biscuits.
Okay, enough small talk. Off to buy some Bisquick. Thanks!
