I would just on principle, there is no way I would let her use a unit, then claim a Paypal dispute, and be out the money after she got the week.

That was my first thought (it'd be libel because it's written), but I don't think insults or epithets are considered defamation. Although since they sent it to someone else, maybe I'm wrong? I think the usual justification for letting that sort of thing slide is that it's said in the heat of the moment.

Also considered "threat of harm," but I think it could be argued that it's phrased more like fate will strike you down than as direct threats. *sigh* Which if I'm right, could mean they know exactly what the law will condemn and are considerably more canny than their spelling indicates.

But I'm not a lawyer, either. Like catwgirl, I'm wondering where the resort stands.

So sorry you're having to deal with this. That last one, particularly, made my gut clench, and it's not even discussing me.
