Each Ultimate Meat Lover's Package gathers a carnivorous collection of all-natural meats that are as tender as a godmother's daydreams. Top sirloin and peppercorn steaks, Angus burgers, German bratwursts, and steak fajita strips fill the packages with meaty favorites, all produced without antibiotics or hormones. Vacuum-sealed to protect against freezer burn and dehydration, the savory selections are also individually wrapped so home chefs can save remaining meat for future meals.

By my calculation, that is an average of $15.37/lb for the small package and $13.96/lb for the large package, for their "sale" price.

The only thing in those packages worth even close to that are the steaks, but even then, we don't pay that much. Is meat so much more expensive in other parts of the country where these prices are actually a good deal? Or can you not get good quality meat where you are at?

At the regular price, those two packages are valued at about $46 and $36/lb, respectively! That's a whole lot to be paying for a package that is half hamburger patties and brats!

Normaly the meat is better when you send away cause most are aged and flash frozzen. I have gotten nice steaks at my local Stop and shop or my local butchers which seem to be getting hard to find.

This one has a good staek deal since they use only grass feed cattle and has less fat.

That makes sense; it makes me realize how good we have it here, since the free-range grass-fed beef is right here. We get all of our beef directly from a rancher who butchers a small, select set of their herd through a local butcher and then sells directly to locals. Everything flash-frozen, vacuum packed. I honestly have not had a bad cut of beef from them in the 10+ years we have been their customer. Of course the steaks are great, but even the flavor of the ground beef is night and day compared to the grocery store stock.

For a price example, we just had a boneless 10lb prime rib deliverd for Christmas dinner which was $9/lb. Now we just need to decide how to prepare it!

I just bought both $89 deals cause I went threw fatwallet. They are giving 10% back now threw Dec 25 for all Droupon deals. So I end up paying more like 479 for each deal.

Yeah...I grew up in the Midwest, and I remember some incredible steaks from my childhood and teenage years. But there are a few ultra-prime butchers around here. I figure if I want really fantastic steak, I could go and plunk down some $$$$ at one of those places sometime.
