I'm on my neighbor's computer and he does not have an address line. I've tried everything but can't figure out hpw to get it to appear.

Any ideas?

Go to View/toolbar/Address bar..that should do it!

I'm not at his computer, but here's what I remember that doing.

Doing that you can select or unselect Address Bar. If I select it I get a little box in the tool bar that says Address, but no address bar.

I'll go over there and check.

I'm at his computer now and that did not help. but I figured it out.

There were too many icons in the toolbar. I dragged the Address box and it hid some of the icons and gave us an address bar.
