    I just found out about it a couple days ago, then saw one from the canoe on the bank of our canal just two houses away!

        Last year's cold weather killed most of them. Of course, they mulitply rapidy and could become a major problem again in a few years. Lets hope for a few more weeks of cold weather in South Flroida this winter to keep their population in check.

              In the 8 years ( 1977-1985 ) that we lived in Florida, we never saw an Iguana.

                It says, specifically, iguanas were not here until after JWC left.
