BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

I still listen to some of there songs even the remakes from other groups. I'm a believer is a classic.
When I was about 11 or 12 the monkeys car and the bat mobile was at a local body shop. I have no idea if he bought the cars or remade then. He let me sit in the Monkeys car but not the bat mobile

This makes me so sad. Poor Davy. He was so young and cute back in the day.

Did you ever see the Monkees movie, Head? It was really awful, but there was one funny line where the Monkees are sitting in a diner, and the grumpy old waitress comes up to take their order. She looks at Davy Jones and says, "Well, would you look who it is. God's gift to eight-year-old girls."

I LOVED Davy Jones back in the day. DH and I saw the Mokees (minus Michael Nesbit) at Mohegan Sun last year. Davy was jumping aroud and dancing while singing. He looked good.
            RIP

I never "got" it but my BFF adored him when we were in grade school. RIP Davy Jones.

I never got the Davy Appeal, either (I adored Mike Nesmith), but Davy was incredibly talented and I've enjoyed everything I've seen him in (including the Monkees). And he was too young to be dying. RIP, Davy.

I was one of the little girls crushing on him - I can't believe he died! I saw him on tv recently and thought "wow, he used to be a lot cuter." Still...

A heart attack at 66, how terrible. They have been showing snippets from his youth and he really was very cute and so tiny at 5ft 3ins. RIP Davey Jones.

"We're too busy singin', to put anybody down."

Couldn't leave it hanging like that.
