Oh, that sucks. It's probably toast, but I know one person that got theirs working again by putting it (with the battery removed) in a rubbermaid/tupperware container for a few days with some plain white rice to draw out the moisture.

Hey Frank, that's the second time I remember you sending a phone swimming. I would make fun of it---but I'm afraid if I did that it would happen to me. I seem to remember seeing something on the news a couple of years ago that most phone dunkings were in the toilet.

I can call and receive but I can not hear and they can not hear me as well. Display is fogged but I can kinda text which seems to work right now. What is funny is I go out side to smoke a cigar so bring my house phone outside. Go figure the battery is dead. So now I sit out side with my Touch pad in hand smoking a Cigar and not have to worry about a phone ringing

Glad to hear it is slowly getting better. As mentioned earlier, I dropped by very first phone in the toilet (actually it slid off my belt into the toilet). It took almost 2 weeks, of sitting out with the battery out but it did eventuallys start working again.

That's what you get for trying to clean it yourself. Next time call a professional, like Derek Smalls. (Bonus points to you if you know what I'm referencing.)
“Maybe you shouldn't dress like that.”

“This is a blouse and skirt. I don't know what you're talking about.”

                      “You shouldn't wear that body.”

I got the ringer to work now. I first changed the ringer then put it back and it has worked since. I have no idea how to explain it but the phone is working at about 85% of what is was at before but it is almost fully back. The only thing I can think of is that I have an HE washer and it was in with the bedding so there was not much water. Plus I have a plastic case around it keeping water out of the battery compartment and a screen saver which may have saved the screen.
