Does anyone have a good method to patch large woodpecker holes in Cedar siding? I have about 1/2 dozen that I need to patch.

Unfortunately no, but I feel for you. That doesn't sound like much fun.....

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

We are planning to use the repair method Lawren is about to start called "Residing in Vinyl." But I sure will miss the sound of those woodpeckers....

this is a big problem in the christmas mountain residential area, and probably in the timeshares too. One neighbor had a window comletely pecked out. We have aluminum siding, my daughter wants to buy our house, and the first thing she wants to do is rip off the siding and put up cedar siding. We had a fit and one neighbor volunteered to show the damage to his house.

I they want to change the siding from aluminun. I would suggest she look at James Hardie Fber Cement siding. It has the look of painted cedar siding but is insect proof.
