We welcome any info or help you can offer. Thanks.

We have a 'Champion' juicer, it works great. It's very powerful, and not too difficult to clean.

When I purchased my juicer, those were the two things I felt were top priorities. Good luck.....

We have a have had a juicer for many years. We used it a few times when we first bought it. Now I don't think it has been used in over two years. It's funny that this thread came up. My wife yesterday bought Juice oranges that were so sweet that we enjoyed eating them. When I mentioned the Juicer she said that they were better eating than drinking. Besides we have no idea where the juicer ended up.

We have an ancient (at least 'vintage') Acme Juicer. I'm not sure where it is, I think it must be with Frank's. BUT it is a horrific pain to clean and requires filters. Easy cleaning should definitely be a priority.

We also have an older ACME

and don't think it's hard to clean, but then we don't use the filters

In fact we use it to squeeze the water out of cucumbers, and zucchini when we make relish.

I guess it depends upon what you used to do. Before the Acme, we had to use cheese cloth to squeeze the water out, so this is much easier.

Thanks for the feedback so far....we have heard of the older Acme, and in fact a friend wanted to lend us hers, but I hate to borrow things. She mentioned filters.

With today's inventions, I imagine that there might be a way to find a juicer that is easier to clean and less bulky....a friend showed me his Champion, he loves it, has had it for about 12 years...but gosh, it looks monstrous, and sort of dyed up, colors of all sorts on the thing from different juices.

Also, I don't have a lot of counterspace...

Keep those ideas coming if you can, I really appreciate it.

The new juicers are more compact than the older models. Also, some are available in stainless/black. They will not show the dye stains like the other colors.

I get a kick out of the Commercials on TV. They say clean up is a snap. You see them do a quick rinse over the faucet and there done. Yea right I wonder how long it will take after drinking the next time for the germs to kick in?

Yes, I am seeing some stainless steel models....wonder if anyone has one....

I know Frank, the germs! But then isn't juicing supposed to help you fight them???
