Not really allergic, but does anyone know anyone who is susceptible to AC, or fan-forced cool air, or cool breezy summer evenings, but only when it is very hot, say above 90? Anything you, or they, can do about it?
My sinuses totally clog up under those conditions.
My parents kept the AC at 68 when I was a teenager, and I had to keep the vent in my bedroom shut off during the summer in order to sleep. I took the battery of allergy tests when I was 16-ish, and that was the conclusion . . . susceptible to cool breezes when it is very hot. I'm close to doing that now, shutting off the AC to the bedroom and sleeping in the heat.
I was outside in the heat yesterday from 5:15 AM until 5:00 PM, and within minutes of getting back home and being in the AC, I was stopped up, and was all night.
