Have any of you got the BOC before? Ever get anything worth while? I have seen the videos of people that got them and some are good most are not... I have never got lucky enough but then again I can't stay on woot long enough to see when they first pop up and their site crash...Comment

In the early days, when woot was young, the BOC started as a way to get rid of odds and ends that they had acquired but for which they didn't have enough remaining inventory to justify running an offer during a woot off. Often there were items of significant value that wound up in the BOC. There are stories of people receiving flat panel TVs, for example. As woot grew, those types of things became less frequent, but the legend of BOC grew.
I gave up on trying for BOC several years ago after never succeeding in getting one and, after reading reviews of what people were getting, I decided that what was in one wasn't anywhere near worth the time involved to try to get in on an offer. That was about the same time I decided that the overall woot.com was no longer worth my time, save for wine.woot.

It was back on earlier this morning, but it's down now and has been since about 10:30 AM or earlier.
