  • We had baby spiders dangeling from the bedroom ceiling

I kept thing they were gnats until we put the light on. They were all over, We got 3 big guys and maybe 100 babies. I think they hatched in the attic and came in threw the ceiling fan. I have the itches all over now. We will not be sleeping to much tonight,

When I opened my eyes this morning I saw spiders on the ceiling. After my wife verified it she said, I have spiders on the brain cause this morning there were none Now I am seeing spiders.

eeewww. I know the dangers of pesticides, but I would set off a bomb in the bedroom and sleep in another room tonight.

From what I read they hide in the attic and come in threw the ceiling fan to try to keep cool. I need to bomb the attic but I think my wife got most of them last night. Problem with attic is that there is way to many places to hide in the junk up there. I am going to send my son up there to do it tonight when it is cooler. I just hope they do not look to escape back down or into another area.

We have had tiny tiny white spiders that appear. A pain to get rid of too...Anyway to get rid of tiny tiny white spiders without bombing the house.

I opened my closet door once in the bedroom and the whole ceiling was covered with tiny little spiders. I got the vacuum cleaner out and sucked them all up in one scoop and never saw them again.

Every once and awhile we get an ant trail through the house and I do the same thing and it takes care of the problem while my neighbors spray lots of poison. Not me! I try to stay away from it as much as I can and outside too and the birds seem to like it.

2nd vote for the vacuum. If there are only one or two, I can drop them off outside. A hatching of babies needs to be vacuumed.

Another idea for some situations is diatemacous earth (sp). We had several dozen black widows who made homes along one of our fences. In the past, spraying chemicals didn't work. And, I have a lot of animals, so I am not too fond of poisons in the yard. I threw handfuls of the earth all over the corner areas where they hid during the day. That was about 3 months ago and I haven't seen any since.

With spiders or ant's you can NEVER get rid of them all, the best thing to do is just move out and give the house back to nature
