Wife got about a Doz I just got 3, I had one floating right in front of me. With the fan going he looked like a gnat. Right now I have the light one and have been staring at the Ceiling for the last hour if not more. I have not seen any others in the last hour so maybe we put a hurting on them.

        My Recipe

You could easily call my neighbourhood Spiders-R-Us. My favourite spider is this type, but I don't like them inside the house much. This recipe doesn't kill spiders or humans (as far as I know) but spiders taste through their feet and they will stay away from surfaces with citrus oil on them. Apparently you can also use orange or lime oil too, but I haven't tried them.

        Spider Deterrent Recipe

5 drops of lemon oil - real essential oil (not synthetic, or lemon essence or lemon fragrance oil)
        1 drop of dishwashing liquid
1 litre spray pack of water

Lightly spray over the area. Reapply about every 3 months.

Make sure you only spray lightly and be careful to avoid fabrics - it might stain some fabrics.

I use this spray everywhere spiders congregate - ceiling corners, under tables, under desks and chairs and also on top of the car visor (for some reason I often got huntsmen hiding there and dropping in my lap whilst I was driving). When I sweep under the eves of the house (outside), I rub actual lemon skins into the bristles of my broom before I use it. You could do that with an clean broom inside, if you don't have easy access to lemon oil.

        Good luck

I'm having some really crazy visions of Frank waking up this morning and finding himself engulfed in a spiders web.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

That was some big hand spider. Can I use Lemon flavor Olive oil and even add some real lemon to it.

              Probably.

But look on the bright side, you could have a veritable feast in your attic.

Righteo, so my picture of the Cambodian Fried Tarantulas didn't cheer you up then.
It's probably about time you captured some in a glass jar and took them to a local authority for identification. If they are still hatching on mass, it's time to work out what you are really dealing with.

Did you talk to an exterminator? Normally I wouldn't want to kill spiders, but there are so many of them....

Baby spiders in your brain ?? Sounds like an Alice Cooper tune. So you all ready know the spiders are the secondary problem. The spiders may be eating the primary problem. I hope your not the food souce or primary pest, lol.

Well it has been 3 years and guess what, I saw a couple yesterday and 2 more tonight. I did not wait to see the 100's so I sprayed by my ceiling fan. That is where they are coming in from. Just not sure if ant spray will hold them off until I get something meant for spiders
