      or 4Mers
depending on where you are posting, OY is here or there, AND OH is there or here.

I don't intend this to be a brag, just a statement of fact, but I started the term OY here, early on when many of us came here from OY, via TSTIPS, so that I would not to say +@%.

I guess in the interim, we were Tipsters, or Tippies, or ?????

It is hard for me to conceive of anyone OY referring to here as OY. (I can see someone taking that sentence out of context, and next I'll be reading, "JLB admits it's hard for him to conceive.")

Hmmmm, I call this place 4-Ms - "I was on 4-Ms this afternoon for a while".....and as Lawren said, the people are 4 M-ers, but I do not use the term as frequently as I use TUGers.

So its pronounced four M's, kind of like forums ? OR is it formers ? Or is it four M ers ?

AND where is oy, over yonder. Is it anywhere a person wants to describe a place ? The terms tipsters or tipsies must be before my time.

              Or , RUALLMESSINGWITHME ....lol

OY really depends on where you are at the time. For example, people say OY here and I think they mean Tug. If they say it on Tug, I think they mean here. When they say it on mouseowners, I think they mean disboards.

Yes, it's pronounced four ems, a spinoff of forums. OY, over yonder, is TUG. Tips wasn't around for all that long - it wasn't hard to miss it. The best of all worlds ended up here. I guess we are 4Mers. I refer to us (when I am talking to DH) as "the timeshare people".

Years ago, when I was in the Army we were combat training in the foothills of Kentucky in winter. One of my buddies had to take a dump at first light and since we were on the move he had to squat by the trail. The squad noticed that the guy was producing steam because it was so cold.

His name after that time, and still is , Steamer. lol
