Well He did not come home but found a place to buy socks. He is still going to help out in Hoboken untill his School reopens on Wednesday or Thursday. Friday I know he has to come home cause he is going to Seattle to see the Jets/Seahawks Game.

Your son sounds like a great kid, Frank. You've obviously done something right.

My son just texted my wife. He just got power back on but that is all he has. No Heat or hot water or drinking water other than bottled, No internet or TV. As far as the heat goes they have no idea how long it will take to get that going since the boiler room is still flooded and they do not know if they need to replace the entire boiler or not.

Looks like last nights cold did it. My son wants me to come get him. As of right now he has class starting Thursday at 1pm. So I will be droping him back before his class and getting him Friday early afternoon so he can make the Flight on Saturday Morning. I just hope I have enough gas.

Good luck. He did a wonderful thing. With the Nor'Easter coming, it's good to get out of Dodge.

Well I got him home. Over 2 hours just to get to the Lincoln Tunnel, 3 and a half hours to do a 16 mile RT. BTW the gas wait there was about 30 min by me there is a 5 hour wait.

I didn't think you would have a problem with gas.

I hope that you filled up, thereby saving 4 and 1`/2 hours.

I should have but it was late and I wanted to get him home. I saw how exausted he was. He said he was carrying cases of drinking water further than his house which in some cases was over a half mile but yet he did not take one case for him self. He said the night before with out heat was bad since temps was below 32 degrees. When I was there the area had all types of garbage all over. I could not believe what was damaged. it seemed like the entire contents of there homes were thrown out. but on a good note the streets I was on did not have hardly any water on them. My sons landlord said he should have heat and hot water by weekend if not sooner.

Frank - are you still coming out to Seattle this weekend?
“Maybe you shouldn't dress like that.”

“This is a blouse and skirt. I don't know what you're talking about.”

                              “You shouldn't wear that body.”
