To Katmandu and who ever feels that we might be unfair. First let me say Kat you were just banned for 30 days not for what you posted on this site but for breaking an Administrators chops off the board. This had nothing to do with Censorship but more to do with the inability to control yourself off the boards.
Now let me say, If you think we are unfair then sorry maybe it is not your type of site and you should look elsewhere. Please don't break our chops if you don't like what I say. You know we welcome you to post but if you are constantly looking to start with people then please go find another site. We allow more open discussions here than in any other timeshare website. You have been kicked off ever site that I know but yet you are still here. If you want to remain here you are welcome but stop pushing us to the limit or you will not be here much longer.

As I stated before, these is no censorship here.

Web sites such as this site are the 21st century equivalent of a printing press. They a re a means to record words and make them avaiable for others to read. If I own a printing press, it's not censorship if you ask me to print something for free, and I decline to print it for you. Censorship is a situation where you are prohibited from owning a printing press or if someone who owns a printing press is prohibited from printing your material or writings.

In this case, everyone person here has the ability to own a printing press - you can create your own website or your own blog and distribute your ideas to the world -for free!! That is as far from censorship as things can be.

But just as the owner of a printing press is under no obligation to print everything that anyone wants him to print, neither is the operator of any web site compelled to allow anyone to post whatever they want. That's not censorship; to the contrary that is the freedom of expression granted to every person. That freedom of expression means that operators of this or any site are free to specify and decide what the content of their "publication" will be; it is not censorship if they decide that certain communications are not cosistent with the nature of what they want their site to express.

There is no person at this site who is being prohibited from writing and distributing their thoughts for the entire world to see. If that person is limited in their ability to write and post their thoughts for the entire world to see, that is a limitation of their own making and their own choice.
“Maybe you shouldn't dress like that.”

“This is a blouse and skirt. I don't know what you're talking about.”

        “You shouldn't wear that body.”
