If the latest batch of rumors are true concerning the Vatican, you have to wonder how much longer the Catholic church can withstand all of this. There was plenty of wrongdoing and cover-ups happening during John Paul's leadership period also.

To me it looks like sunlight. To others who inverted the light on these web cam images there looked like a guy with a conical type hat. If it is sunlight wouldn't we be able to see this happen every morning ? The timing is odd because this happened the day Pope Benedict left the Vatican.

Then there is that lightening that happened on the day that Pope Benedict announced he was leaving. Two separate lightening strikes on top of St Peters Basilica with no damage. What seems strange here is two strikes in the same place, no damage and that the image was so perfectly captured on web cams.

Clearly you're not a Raiders of the Lost Ark fan. More seriously, and especially if the sunlight is reflecting off of something, it could literally only happen a few hours or minutes of one day of the year. Couple of different ancient cultures took advantage of that fact in constructing religious buildings.

Ok, so this is who is going to meet the new pope as our unofficial American Ambasador. Denis Rodman, lol. A couple of days after he met with Jong Un north Korea decided to threaten the USA with a nuke. I wonder what the new pope will do after meeting Rodman.
