Lou Reed is a bit more known for "take a walk on the wild side" than some of the Velvet Underground tunes.

One of my favorite songs. David Bowie was a producer of that song, and an interesting note about the sax solo at the end:

The sax solo at the end was played by Ronnie Ross, a Jazz musician who lived near Bowie in England. When Bowie was 12 years old, he wanted to learn the saxophone and begged Ross to give him lessons, which he eventually did. When they needed a sax player for this, Bowie made sure Ross was booked for the session, but didn't tell him he'd be there. Ross nailed the solo in one take and Bowie showed up to surprise his old friend.

Thanks for the Velvet Underground tune! I also love Lou Reed on his own, but VU is just so fabulously period and that song is Nico pretty.

A friend of mine has been posting different tunes from Jesus Christ Superstar each day on Facebook.

Wow, I haven't listened to Jesus Christ Superstar for a long long time. I think I might just go you tube that right now, thanks.

And here's my favorite singer/songwriter/guitarist's interpretation of Gethsemane:
