Well School is now done. We just got in now. I took everyone that came to the Chart house. I had a bottle of Proseco waiting for us chilled on the table. I will try to post a video of him getting his diploma. You can hear someone yell out That.s my boy.
Congrats Frank! I wish my son would have taken a job close to home. Instead, he is in Chicago and comes home only three times a year (Thanksgiving, Christmas/New Year, July 4th). You are lucky that not only he is close to home but also has a nice job.
Congrats! Stevens does brag about the high percentage of graduates landing jobs.
Eng jobs are doing well. Son got a new job offer and moving out to CA after working around DC for 2 years.
Sal changed his major from Engineering to computer science and Programming which is developing the data. From what he was told most take up engineering so there are plenty of engineers but not enough computer science majors. Yesterday I would say there was 5 times as much engineers to 1 computer science major. So basically the engineer's build it but it is the coding that makes it work. I have seen the coding he does and I am so lost in space it is not funny.
Congratulations to your son and to the proud parents too. I remember him getting his driver's license which seems a long time ago now.
I am really happy for you that he will be close to home and was able to get a job right away. He can work anywhere in the world so he is free as a bird. You may have to follow him one day and go to where he is living or vacation there. The computer age has many advantages as there are no borders!
