  • Update on the mugs

    Lawren,
Good afternoon! If you order 40 of each item then you will not qualify
    for
the price break, simply because each item has it's own imprint area (
    we
must create a different screen for each item)
    Please feel free to
    contact me
if you have any further questions or concerns! Have a great day!

    -kelly
We will have a poll to see which is the one preferred by the majority and that is the one we will order.

Please pick from one of the 2 styles.
    Lawren

I picked the 'handless' one, easier to pack

Just an idea, how about a poll on how many you would order of each model? (otherwise 4 people who want 1 mug can out vote 1 person who wants to buy 6 or 8 mugs)

I listed I would buy 6 of the ones with the handle as they can be used with or without the travel lid... the other one can't.. and while I it is great to have the lid when in the car or train, the rest of the time, in the timeshare unit, with friends etc.. I really don't need 6 adult sippy cups..

I voted for the one that that can be used as a regular mug and a travel mug and commit to buy 6 of those but the permanent sippy cups... I can only commit to buy one for the cause... even if I get little use out of it...

Whatever is decided, I support and thank Lawren for moving this forward.

Looks kinda like the handle would come off pretty easily, and then it would be the same style. Can't tell for sure, though. Wonder if we can find that out. Might make everyone happy?

        Tanya

I would take 4 of the "handle", 2 if we go "without".

It pays to have my eyes open wide when I look

          Hi, Lawren,
Thanks for taking the time to do all this...and I feel a bit sheepish, as after really studying the mugs, I have decided the handle one is better. I originally was not in favor of it because of the handle, but the overall design for drinking is better than the one without the handle.

So, I am changing my preference to the one with the handle. Again, thanks for doing this.

I voted for the one without the handle.....but it really does not matter to me.

You should have put a selection that either one is ok.

If I really try to have an opinion, I think I prefer the handled one only because it will be easier to drink from. But really I don't mind which one we end up with and will order at least 2.

One has a threaded cover and other is a lift on/off on cover. I tend to spill remaining drink contents on myself when I have a lift on/off type and need to take the cover off to pour out remainders, add sweetener, etc.

You can never tell if a drinking hole "works" or dribbles based on a photo.

Have had exquisitely looking ergonomic mugs in the past that were major dribblers.

I vote for threaded cover and take the chance that it doesn't dribble.

( The threaded one is the no-handle version)

I will take two without the handle or two with the handle. It dose not mater which two I end up with

It looks like the last two presidential races....

The votes lean slightly one way but there is at least 8 more mugs that would sell if it goes the other...
(there may be more or less but that is just from the posts)

The vote and the "popular" vote go two ways....

I even broke out my Disney mug (I love WDW but had to shelf this mug) that is the same model as the screw top one and tried using it without the lid and the threads are a pain.. and with the lid the lip is so thick, it is annoying and messy... I may try hacksawing the threads off all together..

                          And if it doesn't have a handle.. it isn't a mug it's a tumbler....

I am sure by now Lawren is so happy she took this up..

At this point my main concern is that the decision is made, the mugs/tumblers are ordered and distributed all without anyone getting their feelings hurt or any animosity....

So I will support any decision that is made.. but I hope everyone understands that while I would commit to buy 6 mugs (and would have gone up to 8 myself), I just can't use the screw top tumblers, but I would still buy one... if only to keep pens in it on my desk... after I hacksaw the threads off...

                          Pete

Good thing we are not using chads for voting. Can we get enough people so we can buy 72 of each. If needed I will take two dozen or more of what ever style neede.
