I was at special guest inside tour of the HBO studio on 23rd St this afternoon. Of course the subject of the Sopranos was discussed. I left at 5:15pm and the news had not broke yet. It was only after I was on my way back home from the Whale exhibit at the American Museum of Natural History did DW tell me the sad news.

I was out last night at the GoGos/b52s waiting patiently to catch the bartender before the 8 pm show started and a group of women starting screaming Oh My God ! oh My God! Over and over again. Really really loud. And they could easily have passed for Wives of the show... So that's how I heard the news... Needed to get confirmation from FB that it was true.
Sad, for sure.
