About: SHINE is Florida’s state health insurance assistance program for elder Floridians. SHINE provides educational materials and free unbiased insurance counseling to Florida elders, caregivers and family members. The goal is to help elders understand and receive the health insurance coverage they need through Medicare, Medicaid, Prescription Assistance, Long-Term Care Planning & Insurance, and other health care issues. Community Leaders Assisting the Insured of Missouri (CLAIM)
CLAIM stands for “Community Leaders Assisting the Insured of Missouri.” CLAIM has been the official State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) for Missouri since 1993. CLAIM is a nonprofit providing free, unbiased information about Medicare to Missourians. The goal is to provide local counselors to help you get the most from your Medicare benefits.
SHIP is a free health benefits counseling service for Medicare beneficiaries and their families or caregivers. SHIPs mission is to educate, advocate, counsel and empower people to make informed healthcare benefit decisions. SHIP is an independent program funded by Federal agencies and is not affiliated with the insurance industry.
SHIP Counseling is FREE of charge
State Health Insurance Assistance Programs (SHIPs) provide free help to Medicare beneficiaries who have questions or issues with their health insurance. You can call a counselor or attend a workshop/presentation in your area
