I have to say this car is so cool with all the energy it saves and all the different displays on what is been used. My wife at first was not thrilled but now she loves it as does my son. Neither thought of buying a hybrid never mind a plug in hybridTimeshareforums Shirts and Mugs on sale now! http://www.cafepress.com/ts4ms

No offence, but 100 MPG number seems to be the marketing gimmick. Practically it is 44/42 MPG, this is how it is rated by EPA. That's what you get if you just put gasoline in it. This is also pretty good, but not quite 100 MPG. Fuel economy info for Ford Fusion Energi

That's terrible! Hopefully there wasn't TOO much damage. This is just ONE reason I have sworn to never buy brand new. I always buy cars that are either a couple years old or that have very little life expectancy that I can run into the ground.

I've avoided the hybrids and instead went for the economy class gas. My past few cars have been in the 40 mpg range, but the next car will not sacrifice room for mpg.
