  • Ice Bucket Stupidity

    http://www.cnn.com/video/data/2.0/vi...fails.cnn.html

This Ice Bucket thing is OUT OF Control. Here is a clear example of irresponsible and reckless activity that is causing more harm than the good will intended. All due to human stupidity. These people are just plain old lemmings.

Thanks I feel better now! What ever happened to plain old fads like hula hoops, or pet rocks. This dam internet universe with the videos sometimes brings out the raw absurdity of human behavior.

Sorry if I have offended anyone. I just needed to vent!

I really don't think these idiots have donated a penny to the cause!

$15.6 million, and just getting started:

      http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/n...edia/14232745/

David Siegel will be having his employees do it, to make donations for house payments.

      I believe I will start a luke-warm water challenge.

Can you suggest another "event" that would raise this much money?

I participate in this every year and it raises money for ALS.

You know, after looking at my facebook page I realized that many people that were not aware of als have been promoting als awareness even if they are not participating in donations. So even though I think I would not participate in an ice bucket over my head I actually now think its kind of cool that others are doing so in the name of als.

I think it is fine for the people who want to participate. It really does raise awareness and short of a telethon, I can't think of another way to raise as much money.
