I heard on am news this morning that she is in a medically induced coma. Not a good sign.

She was having an endoscopy when she stopped breathing. My first thought was that she was having cosmetic surgery again. I read that they will be bringing her out of the coma this weekend to assess the damage. I'm not a big fan of hers but I do hope she is okay and can continue her career.

I hope that she will make it if her mind will be the same as before she went in. I hope that she has done a living will.

She was having an endoscopy at the same place my son gets his done every 3 months. Not feeling to good about that but from the research we did before we were going there it is one of the top places to go to get it done.

Started this thread as a celebrity spotting episode. So sad it tragically turned into a RIP thread. Never would have thought about this last week. She was the picture of health!

Did you see this report? I just saw it now. This is really a tragedy for Joan, who has died, and very much for her family and all the people who enjoyed her humor. I don't know how true it is but we will hear more about it.
