We didn't have too many trick-or-treaters tonight. It's raining now so it should be over.
I enjoyed seeing all the little Elsa! I think every other little girl was an Elsa.

I got stuck downtown trying to get home in the middle of the NYC Halloween Parade mayhem. It was great fun seeing all the crazy (and creative) costumes -- I hadn't thought I'd be doing much Halloweening this year so it was a bonus!

I didn't know that it is a Celtic festival originally.

We came home a little late tonight, after dark, but we have had plenty of kids coming by but not the tiny ones anymore. We always enjoy it and their costumes are great. They all are coming with their parents, who stay at the curb, and even the kids of about 10 to 12 years old too, I would say. The older kids may still come later with their friends and no parents. There are organized parties at several places so come by on their way home.

Is this all the same in Ireland or very different?

Same here ...bonfires on many hills around ( and late night scary movies ! 5 am here now )

it started slow, it took 2 hours to go threw 1 bag of Milky way caramel but after 5 pm we went threw 6 bags in 2 hours. Our bell was still ringing at 8:45 pm.

Lots of kid in customs in my area, but they're not trick or treating. I think they're going to parties, or just hanging out with their friends. I had a handful of kids all day.

Two boxes of full size candy bars. Two trick or treaters that ended up spiting one box of full size candy bars. One box of candy bars to return to Costco.

We had about 75 Trick or Treaters, which was a good turnout, considering it poured rain the whole evening. I bought treats for 100, so DH has lots of mini chocolate bars to enjoy.

No Trick or Treaters here in Miami.
The thing to do now is to take the kids to the mall or to stores.
I guess paranoia is pretty high here in my city.
We never went to the malls when we were kids.
