my source is Susan W. and she also said that the surgery was dangerous because Bruce's blood pressure was so low they didn't think he could survive. but if he didn't have the surgery, he wouldn't survive. It turned out the surgery went better than expected.

We have met Bruce and Judy twice and I read her messages on Facebook. Judy posted on December 1 that Bruce is doing a lot better.

Just saw this post on the Bluegreen Yahoo Group from Susan....

"I just wanted to let everyone know that Judy Czajowski told me that Bruce is on hospice care and for the most part incoherent. As of March 29, he was anticipated to last only two weeks. I just spoke to Judy on the phone and she did not indicate he had passed and so I assume he had not as of that moment.

Bruce has helped me immensely in my UDI knowledge always willing to share despite how it may even cause him competition in getting reservations. Definitely a man interested in imparting knowledge to others. Always willing to share.

I knew those of you who have had the opportunity to learn from Bruce will join me in condolences to Judy and family as this chapter in Bruce's life comes to a close.

He is a genuine gentleman who willingly shared his knowledge and expertise with all.

What a shock to read this. I haven't checked FB for awhile but will do it now. This will be a very difficult time for Judy.

Bruce, and Judy, have fought a long battle. He was already fighting when we first met them, circa 2000, so he's put up a good fight.

I love Bruce, He was always funny, I a had the pleasure of Spending a few days with him in St Croix. I hope he licks this thing for good. He does not deserve it, He is a good man that brings joy to people that he meets
