Does anyone have an ebay store ? Im thinking about becoming a re-seller and was wondering if there is any money in it. Recently I listed 80 items that I don't use anymore and people seem to buy them. If and when they all sell I think I will have about $2000.

Im out of stuff from the closet and the junk drawer. I guess I could clean out the garage, basement and shed. Then I could go through my ocean container and shops.

After that I would be out of junk. Where does a person go to get more inventory ?

My garage, office, basement. I know a guy that used to buy stuff at my friend's estate sales and resell on Ebay. My friend's son-law also does some selling on ebay on sale remnants. Tag sales could be a source if the prices are right. Here's a link to one of my friends old completed sales (see the pictures link): http://estatesales.tripod.com/index.html
You can look for estate sales in your area at: Estatesales.com

How did you decide what to sell Frank ? I see truck loads of stuff from places like Home Depot and Sears but thought it would be better to sell things that ship easy.

            I have two ebay stores.
The basic store is around $16 and includes 150 free listings a month.
            I have a mid-level store which is $60 and includes 1000 listings a month.
After that it's 20cents per listing in a basic store and 10cents for the mid-level store.
I've done okay with it. It's my retirement plan and going according to plan.

I sell mostly jewelry now but over the years I have sold coupons, DVD's, CD's and other odds and ends.
Many people like to thrift for inventory and if you are good at treasure hunting you can do very well.
It's probably best to pick a niche and get good at spotting the deals either at garage sales or thrift stores.

I can't walk well so can't go that route so I buy directly from China on Aliexpress or from other online
wholesalers in the USA. I go to trade shows once a year in Orlando and Vegas.
ASD is a huge trade show in Vegas with lots of profitable things to sell.
IFJAG is one that I go to to source jewelry but you have to buy in large quantities and large dollar amounts
with most of the sellers since they are wholesalers to the wholesalers.
I got lucky to get into that show as it's made me alot of money too.

I'd just google trade shows near you and sign up for a few and see if you find a niche you like.
Most of the USA sellers only want to deal with legitimate businesses so you may need a business license or corporation to buy from many.
            That's easy to get.

I have a small Facebook group so friend me on facebook and I'll add you to the few that I am a member of.
They are very helpful and you will be up and running in no time.
Good luck. PM me if you need help getting started or friend me and let me know your real name so I add you.

Thanks Christine. We are already fb friends through the forum. I checked out your store. Thanks for sharing it. I guess I need a store.

I would like to sell things that I like. Jeep stuff, fishing stuff , scuba stuff, motor sport stuff but haven't figured out how to proceed yet and I am not sure that it would be practical. It seems that small items that ship easy might be good to get my feed back up. So far the only thing that I have made any money selling are cell phones. Those sold fast.

I started selling Drones some 5 years ago due to my son wanting 1 DJI drone, Long story short I won 6 new DJI drones by accident , A company put about 70 drones to sell on ebay and the 70 drones all ended in a 20 minuite time slot. I set up my sniping software and won 6 drones costing me close to $3 Grand, I had no idea what to do with them, so I sold them on Ebay and 2 to one of our members who got it for what I paid. I ended up make close to 3 grand profit on the remaining 4. I loved doing it and more so loved learning how to fly the hard way. I was a electrical technican so I started buying units that needed repair fixed them up and made a great profit . Now I am selling planes, Boats , Cars and helicopters mostly high end items.

Thanks for sharing your online stores Frank. I think you got into the drone business at the right time.

I didn't know that about you. That is also my background, except I have mostly worked in the R&D part of electronics (some design, board layout, etc), or lately, in the documentation part of it, CAD and technical writing.

I do have a bunch of crap, um, quality items that I would like to get rid of, but only thing I have listed on Ebay was timeshare rentals.

                          Hi Frank,

I am thinking about getting a drone but don't want to invest to much on the 1st one as it will be crashed a few times I suppose. What would you recommend for someone staring out and learning how to fly one?

                              All good questions.

                              2 -3 hundred dollars
                              Camera yes
FPV probably not for a beginner
GPS maybe but probably not for a beginner
                              Used
