Looks like New Haven, CT is the pizza capital of the country- with # 1 and two others in the top 15. Sally's is just down the street from # 1.

I've eaten at Pepe's and "The Spot" which was really good despite not being in the top 15.

Is that the name of the pizzeria or just the type of oven. "The Spot" in New Haven has brick ovens and just a few weeks ago an old friend and I had a conversation about whether those ovens were coal or wood fired.

I had a seafood pizza in Ensanada Blanca at Casa Mia the other day. It is the VDP resort. No cheese, thin crust, garlicky Italian tomato sauce, shrimp, clam, dorado, calamari , onion and some hot pepers. I had this pizza and some beers while watching the Sea Hawks blow away the Colts. It was pretty good.

Chicago pizza under represented. Lou malnoti at the least should be on the list.
