Started at a few minutes after 10 AM here and is coming down fairly heavy. I'm hoping that we don't get much freezing rain so we don't lose power.

It snowed off and on all day. I wasn't feeling like messing with the snow today so my son cleared our driveway and road. My son in law decided to take the plow and clear some snow. For me, its fun maybe once a year but after that it seems like work.

I see you figured out a "damm dp".

All the forecasts here were a bit off. As of 1 AM we got about 3-4 inches of snow with perhaps an inch of sleet and maybe now a bit of rain or freezing rain. I just came in from smoking a small pipe on the front stoop and it wasn't doing much of anything. I doubt if I'll go anywhere tomorrow, but i might get the driveway shoveled.

Ours turned out to be a sleety slushy mess. We only got about 2 inches of snow but there were hundreds of accidents in our county due to spin outs.

We are in 4th place in weather records for the most snow in February. Weather guy is saying we will likely get to 3rd place.
Our snowiest month is generally March. Does that mean more next month?
We have the most snow on the ground since March 2014.

For the first time ever, I have bought snow tires.

              damn doublepost

My driveway is half done, should finish it today. Not much melting yesterday and not much expected today. Should get a meltdown on Friday with a high of 47f- after that its going to be pretty cold for a while.

We woke up to a blizzard. Then my wifes phone went off. Her sister slipped and is laying out in the snow. This sister managed to scoot to her porch and call her sisters who called an ambulance. I asked why didn't the sister who fell call the ambulance. If she could call her sisters she could dial 911 ? So we were getting ready to go to the hospital and I was told that I wasn't going to the hospital because . Ok then, because works for me. I guess because means I have to remove another 4 inches of snow.

Broken hip sister in law. She will likely be in surgery tomorrow. Either pins or new hip. One of my friends had a heart attack while shoveling snow last week. He wasn't sure he had a heart attack but remembered me not being sure so he went in. He is fine and back at home with no heart damage. I remember when I did rehab that most of the new heart attacks were right after the big snow storms where guys were shoveling snow.

                      Its still a blizzard out.

So I have to edit my post because of the double post dealio to get one post. Is there any other way besides editing ?

If it makes your sister in law feel better tell her I have 2 new hips one is 5 years old and the other 1 year.

I must have screwed up with software to cause the double post and now even the editing is screwed up. I have no idea how to fix it

It all began around the time you made the human verification for registration easier after I noticed no new members for a week or 2. I'm looking at things when I get a few minutes, but I haven't figured it out either. What is the editing problem ?

I don't know if it is lucky regarding my sister in law but they were able to pin her hip arthroscopic-ally so her down time won't be as long. Even so, she will likely end up in a nursing home for 4 weeks to do therapy. She will be the first family member of our generation to go to a nursing home.

Last night the roads froze over and my grand daughter spun out and ended up in a snow bank. She hit her brakes because the car in front of her spun out and blocked the two east bound lanes. She ended up in a different hospital with a concussion .
