The snow is finally melting. A herd of 30+ elk wandered through yesterday. I can see their tracks coming down the hill through the snow. The elk are unusual. Most of the 200+ pound of dog food Rex ate through out the winter has been found. My hiking trail is clear of snow but it looks like new people have discovered the area. Went on a hike and I noticed my right toe was rubbing the hiking shoe. I hope it is the shoe and not my toe.

We left Sedona a couple of weeks ago and ran into snow off and on. Got to Brice Canyon and it had just snowed. Got to Sedona then headed to Death Valley where the weather was nice. Headed to Genoa hot springs where it started to snow. Left Genoa to Klamath Falls and woke up to snow. It was a really greenish drive through the deserts.
Anyone dealing with flooding yet ?

We got home and the weather has turned. Cold and rain here in the valley and snow in the hills.
