The original version of "Don't Mess With My Toot Toot" was by a Cajun gentleman named "Rockin' Sydney," who also wrote the song. It went Platinum, and also won Rockin' Sydney a Grammy. "My Toot Toot" has been re-recorded and covered by many artists since then including Fats Domino, Rosie Ledet, Jean Knight, Terrance Simien, Doug Kershaw, Denise Lasalle, Jimmy C.
