Ahh, yes. No surprise that dear PH got that "In-N-Out" urge"! Perhaps she had one of the modified In-N-Out bumper stickers on her car as well, hmmmm???

Right .. not even close to In-N-Out. Contrary to the prior post, In-N-Out is really good. They still make french fries right from the potato, everything is fresh. Of course, the name helps too.

I wish they had one here. But it's usually my first stop when I make my monthly trips to the Bay Area. They opened one 1 exit south of SFO, and I pick up a snack on the way to my hotel.

There can be no fight about White Castles, there is nothing to compare them to. They are what they are, and when you want them, nothing else will do.

Course, the older I get, the less I want them. The price you pay for eating them is just not worth it. Plus, they are very small, so you can eat quite a few, and they have about 200 calories a piece. Decidedly NOT good for the waste line. Especially if you add in an order of their yummy onion rings.

edit: OOPS, Freudian slip, I mean waist line.

White Castle never hooked me with their hamburgers, perhaps because there never seemed to be one around where I lived. They do sell them, packaged and frozen, in many grocery stores around here.
