Not only are we better looking, but, we dress better, and have nicer cars......

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

There is and has been a certain stiff attitute over yonder which has increased dramatically in the past few years and become more restrictive. Lately, one could place bets on how long a humorous or controversial post would last OY. I have no idea how many posts I had over there, but I'm sure I was right in the running until 2004 with those who saw it as a mark of expertise (see JLB for exact figures ). I think that if you could find the TUG owner Bill Rogers last post (2003 or 2004) and read it, you just might be glad that there was another place to go as well as understand why so many of us were looking for a new place.
At any rate it is nice to have a choice and several places to go.

I do keep track of such things and I we have not had that kind of decrease in unique visitors or hits but it is down from the summer months...

I was thinking I need to work on a "Skishareforums" theme to get those of us that like winter vacations going... Note, I am kidding but this is an area of interest that does have cycles.

I agree with you on this statement!

There were times on TUG, when I felt that some of the posters wanted to shut me up because I do not like the direction that RCI is going with rentals and high fees. This includes the Moderators. I also found that the main Moderators are really not very friendly. They treated me like they were the teacher, and I was the student. We are watching you! If you cross the line, you get demerits. And with too many demerits you get kicked out of school. (I never got kicked out of school) But I was warned not to ask too many rental questions on Ask RCI.

There seems to be too many posters on TUG that seemed to be very, very Pro-RCI. Everything that RCI does, seems to be all right to them. It makes one wonder if some of the posters are really RCI employees.

I am not Anti-RCI. It just appears that way. I have been getting equal and good trades with RCI. I have traded into Hawaii and Europe. But I'm not sure that RCI will allow that to continue in the future.

So the main reason I rather post here is Timeshare Forum is friendly and helpful. I'm not sure that TUG still is.

No, you don't. You have to pay to get access to certain things, like the Reviews. I still post in both places, especially when I have questions so that I might get more input.

Thanks Luanne, for clearing that up for me. I just saw the join bit and the fee and jumped to the wrong conclusion. Ill have another look.

I feel more of a bond with people here. I have been helped by the posters directly and indirectly, it is a very supportive group.
I find the posters here very friendly and respectful of others as well as genuinely helpful to anyone posting, no matter what level of knowledge or experience.

I've had posts go completely unanswered on TUG but never here. If fact I get answers surprisingly fast here and notice so many posters go the distance to help with information or just be friendly.

I like both sites very much.

I enjoy both, but I really think TUG is still the busier site. If you check New Posts on TUG, there is a constant stream of new things to read. I just prefer to read certain categories on TUG but tend to read everything here. I do not know why I read all posts here, I just do.

I enjoy controversy but do not like getting stuck in the middle of it, as I was a few weeks ago. I am way too sensitive!

I don't normally mind the controversy, since I do march to the beat of a different drummer, what I have a problem with is the pack mentality where the scout sniffs out blood and the others circle for the kill. It's one thing to disagree with someone, it's quite another to attack and continue to add fuel and encourage others to attack.

You hit the nail on the head with one of the problems OY that we do not have here, fortunately.

I totally agree with Caroline, Ken & ShopGurl have stated in there comments ~~ I won't get into detail cause of my last outburst on a different subject matter ~~ Which as far I'm concerned hasn't been corrected ~~ I'm sure it won't but I no longer can generate any more response cause of my health ~~ I truly like it here over Tug any day of the week ~~ People here have a concern for posters here vs Tug ~~ I don't want to be banned but sometimes you have to make a point which usually doesn't take any effect ~~

I hope all the moderators & Administrators understand the situation & I want to add that Steve & I had a disagreement awhile back at Tug ~~ Since then ~~ the man has tried to regain my acceptance ~~ Since he has been over here & he tried to make the situation better ~~ I told him "No" ~~ Well ~~ that's over ~~ he was one of few who tried to calm me down ~~ That I appreciate ~~ more than you know ~~ So ~~ as of today ~~ I hope Steve accepts my apology for bein an ass ~~ He's a person that should be accepted for his contribution to this forum with his humor & knowledgeable experience ~~ We need more poeple like him here on TS4M's ~~

I enjoy having both sites but this site definitely is more "cutting edge" and user friendly.

I've been having too many problems with the TUG site and find the format dated so I've been around here a bit more.
