    Angela, I had to go there today to get a few loafs. Do not go there on a Sunday as they only make it fresh Monday to Saturday. The hot is $6 a loaf and the other one is $5.50. Get both so you can see which one you like more.

    I am having some people over for dinner, this Friday. My mom is going to pick me up some, and bring it with her. Is there anything else she should get, while she is there? .......sorry!

      The have nice fresh Mozzarella , Mozzarella wrapped over Prosciutto and good Italian Salami like soppresata.
      They are known for the fresh or fresh frozen pasta. They have these tiny miniature Ravioli's that are nice.

            Lots of candy at the office

            Lots o candy at the office! A big tub of it with all sorts of assorted candy! It is hard not to take a whole handful of them back to the desk.

              I was just there again. The fresh Mozzarella & Soppresatta is great at the Pasta store. Cheaper here to.

              Also while you are buying the bread look to see if they have any Olive bread. Now they also have Meat , Eggplant, chicken stuffed bread that they sell by the pound.

                My mom was going to pick the stuff up for me. But, now I have to be in Queens tomorrow, so I will get it myself.

                Are you suggesting that I get the Mozzarella & Supressatta from the 'Pasta Store'? And, the bread, and the other stuff from Furci's?

                  That sounds about right. Go to the Pasta store first to be sure he has the Mozzeralla made first. He makes it twice a day. He has other nice cheeses as well.

                    I do have some Italian stores near my home, that I shop in, but, I know that they are not as good.

                      I went to both stores today, and picked up some stuff. Like you, I started eating the bread immediately, and had finished half a loaf before I even made it to my mom's house. It was delicious! Luckily, I bought three loaves.

                      I got the cheese and the Sopressatta at the Pasta Store, along with a variety of pasta. I haven't tried anything else yet, but am looking forward to tasting it all.

                          Boy is that the truth. I was gaining weight just looking at the great stuff in Furci's....BTW, I'm not really off the candy either. I have been picking on it not stop, all week......
