I don't even know where our Halloween candy is. Well, that's not true, I'm just trying to pretend I don't know where it is.
You guys are better than me. Next year, I'm giving out quarters....

So how as everything from Furcis ans the Pasta Store.

Getting back on topic, My wife had the candy hidden and put it out last night. Well at 1:30 am as I was going to bed I got side tracked and made a detour right for the candy dish. I only had 3 but my wife caught me opening the wrappers and came down to rub it in.

Frank, everything was great, my guest really loved the bread. I have to agree, it was the best that I have tasted. It has much more meat in it than most others. My brother is having company this Saturday, and he is going to drive from Woodmere to pick some up. They have so much stuff in that store, that I will shop there from now on. I forgot how good the Italian stores are in that area.

The Pasta Store was also great. I loved the cheese and prosciutto, but I really had fun buying lots of different pastas. The owner of the store also went to Saint Mary Gate of Heaven, grammar school. Although, he graduated quite a few years before me. We talked a little about the school, nuns, etc. I told him that you recommended that I go there. He thought that he knew who you were, but wasn't positive. So, I told him to look for the cigar....... Thanks so much for recommending these stores. I not only loved the stuff, but it brought me pack to my childhood. It was really fun going to that neighborhood again.

.......... Normally, that's what would happen here. My DH would be eating the candy, and I would be giving him grieve. Not this year! For whatever reason, I have not been able to control myself. I seem to have developed a real sweet tooth, and can't seem to resist chocolate anymore. As if I'm not already sweet enough......

Well I went through about 300 pieces of candy in the last two weeks (the "fun size") so yesterday I had to go out and buy two more bags (120 pieces each). My goal is to keep them sealed until I absolutely need them. Wish me luck.

PS I have three children who ate some too.

All bags of candy at our house are still sealed and "hidden". But heaven help me when they are opened tonight.

For all of you early Halloween candy eaters, just think tonight when your children return, you get to confiscate their candy and enjoy a whole new variety of choices. I'm sure that the bags you bought were getting a little routine. Tonight, new flavors and choices !

But my kids don't go trick or treating any more!

I waited until today to buy our candy. All that was left was stuff I don't like (the trick or treaters probably won't either). Of course the weather is unbelievably warm and beautiful so we'll probably run out early.

The only problem I will have is with the stuff my kids bring home. My DS14 probably won't trick or treat (at least won't treat), we'll see what happens with DS12...

I have to go and buy MORE. It is gone from here, plus Rick left whatever he had not eaten at the firehouse this morning. What a dork!

OR you can go down the street, wait in the bushes and mug the little guys for their candy!

No one showed yet and all the bags are opened and the candy is in a big bowl. I still haven't had any.

I can not believe your will power......... Impressive!

We have had a bunch of kids so far, and I am fearing running out of candy. I hope they take it easy on us, if we do........

Lucky you.......It is very mild here today, and I am getting an unprecedented number of kids. I just called my DH and asked him to see if he could find more candy on the way home from work. He wasn't thrilled. Could you imagine if he knew how much of it I have eaten.......
