I wooted!
Okay, I fell for this one. I've always wanted to try the Roomba. We have a furry beast and I'm tired of the daily vacuuming. At half price on Woot I decided to try it out.
Thanks too for the info on the taxsucks coupon code. Since I live in Texas I have to pay the extra 12 bucks but with the coupon I at least saved the $5 shipping fee.

I loathe vacuuming, and I would get a Roomba, but I'm afraid it would die a quick death from choking on Polly Pocket shoes.
For those of you who have one--
Would it just suck up little things like that and keel over? Or would it go around them? What if it ate a paper clip? Does it have a way to kick non-dust items into a reservoir or something?

Our Roomba arrived five days ago. We started using it about 24 hours after that. We've used it daily and love it so far.
Can't really answer the question about sucking up small items since we're good about making sure nothing like that is on the floor (we don't have kids). But it does have an auto shut off if it gets stuck somewhere so I assume it would do that if something were to jam it. It only has one dirt reservoir.
We block off two small areas where there are computer and lamp cords. The two virtual walls work great if we want to keep it out of a certain area (like when the cat is sleeping in the back room).
We have a hairy dog and it's been wonderful to keep up with a daily cleaning. Most of our house is wood or tile and it seems perfect for those floors.
It is noisy so we turn it on whenever we leave the house for our daily walk. Tried turning it on at night but didn't like listening to it as we went to sleep (but we have a small one story house so that might not be a bother to other people in larger homes).
Like it so much that when I told the DH that the Scooba was on Woot today he insisted I buy it too.
