No big deal.
My OP might have included a poor choice of wording, since so many experienced and intelligent people were confused by it.
I was just trying to say for those who don't already know it, perhaps who don't have the same experience as myself in this regard, that there are people on these forums who delight in turning folks in for stuff, whether it's to exchange companies or otherwise.
Now those who perhaps didn't know that do.RCI Member Since 24-Aug-1989/150-plus Exchanges***THE TIMESHARE GRIM REAPER~~~Exchanging/Searching/SW Florida/MO/AR/IA/Consumer Advocacy/Estate Planning/Sports/Boating/Fishing/Golf/Lake-living/Retirement****Sometimes ya just gotta be a dick

At one time, before my time, there was a 1 in 12 chance of that being the case. or at least that was what one old time book indicated.

I don't know if you are referring to my post on that thread or not, but I have no intentions of turning anybody in. I just wanted to point out to an inexperienced individual how exposed she was in sharing her situation on a public forum. Sometimes people post things here or on TUG and think it is a private little community and that is not the case. I have heard stories of folks losing their II accounts over things like this, and I didn't want that to happen to anybody. I was glad that Dave made the changes, as a more experienced person wouldn't have included all that detail in the first place.~Arlene

What kind of world do we live in where this post, referring to another BBS thread gets more views and discussion than a post where I pointed out the George Bush referred to Google as "the Google", which I found to be very funny? (And, yes, it's possible to support him or be against him or be agnostic towards him and still find "the Google" to be funny.)
This is some kind of alternate universe where some people get more pleasure out of pointing out things and stirring up the pot for no reason at all, other than to stir up the pot.
Sometimes this can be a very bizzarro place, JLB.
I thought that Frank's Hot Tub was supposed to be a fun place.
Maybe the mods over here should create a new discussion forum on this board where the topics are discussions about TUG only, and can include TUG policies, TUG members, TUG posts and anything else you want to discuss about TUG here, rather than there, either because you want to, or just can't do it over there. If that was done, then it would be really easy for people that simply don't care to ignore it.

Usually, Moderator there moves all these detail info quickly, because you can not post into a discussion forum like an for "week want" or "week for rent" ad OY. This one get slip. Even if she don't ask, they still need to edit that thread because that is their policy. But since the other person is break a rule set by exchange company, so they are now facing a difficult situation that look like they are trying to protect the bad guy.
I don't know about trust issue in any open forum.

Dave If you want to see funny Stuff about GWB then join the Political forum and look at the thread I started regarding how the late shows make fun of him.
The Tub is a fun place and we are more open here so anything can happen. You never know what gets posted here. We had a Spammer in here a few hours back trying to sell Booty.Timeshareforums Shirts and Mugs on sale now! http://www.cafepress.com/ts4ms

We do draw the line, You do not see Tug Bashing here. We do allow talk about Tug and we post links to good informative threads. I knew what Jim was pointing out when he posted. It took me a while but I figured it out. I almost moved this thread at first to a private forum. He was not bashing Tug but pointing out that Members both Here or there can drop a dime on you.
Me I do not rent out and I do not like that people rent out exchanged weeks but I would never drop a dime. Also lets face it Rci is eyeing Tugs boards like a Hawk. I do not think They are here in the same way, plus we have things that in time you will see, That are in place to filter certain forums out from wandering eyes.Timeshareforums Shirts and Mugs on sale now! http://www.cafepress.com/ts4ms

I got that too. But I don't think that it should surprise anybody that there are always people lurking about that have nothing better to do than create problems for others.
At any rate, I understand what you meant. I guess I overreacted.

If that's the case, I wouldn't want to disappoint.
Let me say this concisely. We (more than just me) talk about TUG here because we can't there.
We also talk about other things here that don't seem to fit, but we do any way.
Maybe those who feel uncomfortable with it can campaign for a new rule: No talking about stuff that doesn't seem to fit.
Back to my original intent, my confusing warning: Don't trust folks just because you are on an Internet forum with them.
PS: If you wish to say something some may not want to read, use a lot of smilies.
