So about that wine...I checked the Noceto website, and if I were to order those 4 bottles of wine directly from them, it would cost $96, plus an additional $17 to ship 4 bottles to Washington.

So the Woot price of $60 + $5 shipping is looking pretty good!. And with the holidays coming up, it would be nice to have some good bottles of wine on hand.

Has anybody ever heard of this brand?

I have the worst headache possible right now. I got home after having some cigars and wine with some friends(Vikingboy). And I get online about close to woot time. I see it's woot off again and I start to I never got to bed as I was already half a sleep when it started. I fell asleep on the couch looking at my lap top with my hand holding my head up. This morning I woke up with such a headache and a stiff neck to go along with my numb hand and broken back. And to make matters worse, I missed more than half of everything. No big deal since the bag of crap has not yet come up.

YEEESSS! Would you believe I actually WANTED a crank-up radio? We have a bar mitzvah coming up in two weeks and I was thinking about some small gift for the boy, and I thought, "You know what would be cool? A hand-crank radio!" Yeeeess!!! So happy.

Now if I can just think what to do with my stupid smoke alarms from the last woot-off. Maybe the bar-mitzvah boy would like one.

OK, I bought one of the JBl II ipod speakers. I bought one of these at the last Woot Off for my daughter. This one is for dear ol' dad!

Even better this one was $5 less than the first one and I remembered to use the Taxsucks coupon and saved the sales tax.

Reminder, if you live in Texas, you will pay sales tax because Woot is located in Dallas.

The radio went incredibly fast. Now I'm kicking myself that I didn't get two. (One for the next bar mitzvah!)

Anyway, Mike--it is a particularly ugly example of a hand-crank radio. Not one of those cool ice-blue ones. This one looks like something my father would have made from a HeathKit in 1965. Also refurbished. Also Brand X. Do you feel better now? Would you like a smoke alarm?

We usually buy the cheapest decent-looking wine we can find, like $4 or $5 a bottle (I know, I know, three-buck Chuck--but we don't have a Trader Joe that sells wine near us).

Then I ordered some woot wine b/c I had a coupon, and we opened it, and DH and I were like, "Whaddya know? Expensive wine actually tastes better! Who knew?" It was really, really good.

Now I'm strangely drawn to woot wine...must resist....
