And for the not so grand finally

1 Logitec Gamepad for Nuon , Not sure what to do with this one. It is a game pad for DVD players.

That sucks! I was hoping you would have better crap in your bag.

    • I'm disappointed in Frank's BOC, too. He should have gotten something nicer in exchange for drumming up business for them! Sorry, Frank.

My son had one that we bought years ago. He still takes it out once in a while and he is 16.

I was hoping I would have gotten something good so my wife did not have to say told you so. I out smarted he on this one as I said that since her brother was buying a new Digital camera and a Digital video camera to give them the bag as an extra Christmas gift. That worked well.

Now back to the flash light I got it to work. Not sure how long it will last but it's working now and it only took just over an hour to fix. I have to say it is really a cool flash light.

I intend to print the Roomba thread and include it in the box.

Kay has met enough internet timeshare friends that she sees them as sensible people, more so than I (about whom she has significant doubts). So a print-out of timeshare people praising their Roombas will help me seem not quite so loopy.

Gosh, if that's all it took, I would have bought a Roomba as soon as they came out.

I think my wife still thinks I'm loopy for buying one. But I noticed she hasn't complained when I run it and it picks up debris and dog and cat hairs. I always make sure I let her know how much was swept up!

Mike - Notice that I'm not expecting to her think I'm not loopy. One Roomba, as nice as it might be, is not going to alter evidence accumulated over 30 years of marriage.

Nay, my aims are much more modest than that. I figure that when she unwraps the package and doesn't know what it is, she'll be thinking to herself, "I should have known he would do something like this." Then when she realizes what it is she'll be thinking, "I knew it. He's finally lost it." So all I really want is for her to collect herself after a bit and conclude that I'm not yet completely whacked.

                      • Now we're at 4658 - that's more than one-eighth of the way to 5000 just overnight. I think 5000 is attainable, espeically if one more person starts posting about BOC.

BTW - my $100 19-inch LCD monitor should be here in a couple of days.

Let me know if they get another Roomba on there. I want to send Dad one for Christmas and they are at least $50 less than anywhere else.

I'll be curious how you like the monitor. I am just a bit of a nerd lately but I added an extra video card in my desktop PC that I use for programing and I stold the flat screen monitors from my wife's computer as well as the external monitor I use for my laptop so when I am programing I now have three 17-inch monitors to work with.

                                - One for a page with the Code
                                - One for the browser so I can see what the page looks like
                                - One with the file transfer software, development notes, etc.

I just can not function with a single monitor anymore as some of the code work is just so complicated. I would like to upgrade my 17-inch monitors to something bigger and that way my wife isn't mad at me for bring back out the old 19-inch CRT monitor that takes up the whole desk!
