Oh, thank god it's just "here's what's arriving"! I saw the heading that a Woot-Off had started and I nearly had a heart attack.

Oooh, Frank, maybe you'll get a do-rag.
I've just been reading what people got. Some of it is, again, truly craptacular.
Here is the spreadsheet compiled by the guy with too much time on his hands.

Also, what new non-BOC Woots are arriving? My wind-up radio arrived (just in time to be given at the bar mitzvah tomorrow) and it is truly the finest in Cold War styling. I thought it might arrive in a nice, you know, box, with a picture on the top and a bunch of baggies with cords and instructions. The real thing arrived shoved in a cardboard shipping box, with its carrying bag next to it and the strap tossed in on top. I thought there were no instructions until I found them tucked deep into the bag, looking distinctly pre-read. Ah well. A 13yo boy will still like it, I'm thinking.

Well, I gave my wind-up radio as a gift at the bar mitzvah this weekend and it was a huge, HUGE hit. My DD convinced the bar mitzvah boy to open our present at the party and his mother could hardly drag him away from the radio to mingle with the guests!
This was definitely the most successful Woot purchase ever for me! And to cap off my joy--the Restoration Hardware catalog came this weekend and had MY RADIO for $50 plus shipping! I bought it on Woot for $20 plus $5 shipping. What a triumph! My only regret is that I didn't buy three--we have a couple more bar mitzvahs comign up.

To quote Big Frank "Just got my crap and the name fits it."
The way everyone was anxious to get the BOC, I thought it would be some good stuff, like a Wii or at least rubber chicken.
Pub mug, camera case, rubber band shotin' gun, & "mouse" shaped like a cat. Think next time I will avoid the stress & High BP and pas on the BOC!Give me a place with 4 S's: Sun, sand, surf, & suds-Dale (from Illinois)

The robot works well for me in 800sq foot sections daily. It does the bedrooms/office one day and the living/dining/ kitchen the next. Scary what it picks up in it's runs.Try setting up the virtual wall if you have a large open single floor plan to break up the square footage your Roomba has to cover.
I have fallen in love with the damn thing but think I may be going bald.
That one rubber brush is the devil itself to get longhair out of.
Steve,
Whoever is getting this for Xmas will probably look at you askance until they spend a few weeks with the little beast.Lawren

Lawren,
Good ideas. Thanks for the suggestions.
I still have a lot of the gadgets in the box. The darn thing does come back to the home base to re-charge itself when it gets a low battery! I tried that on Sunday while out of the house and came home to see that it was in the base and charging. (unless of course my dog put it there, Naaaa! )
