  • The monitor will probably go on my wife's computer.

Her demands aren't great, so I'm sure it will be fine for the intended purpose.

    “You shouldn't wear that body.”

        Steve,

Is that monitor a Hanns-G, HC194D? I bought one about 3 or 4 months ago when my old 17" Viewsonic died a red death. I have really liked it. It took a while to get used to the size as it seem so much larger. But it has worked just fine and I like the built in little speakers.

Regarding the speakers, you have to change your XP settings to have it recognize the speakers in the monitor.

I think I paid about $149 after rebate. So a $100 price was really good.

Yep - that's it. Supposed to arrive on Dec 7.

Looks as if they tried to deliver it today, but I was downstairs and didn't hear them at the door. Must have had my JBL speakers from the previous woot-off turned up too loud.

I really have liked that JBL speaker for my ipod. It really has a very good sound and my ipod is always charged up!

I bought a pair of this today. I hope they will work in my garage so I can use the laptop in the yard. I might have been better walking over to the door and tossing the $15.00 out the door.

I just checked and if anyone wants to jump on the deal there are still some left.

The only thing worth jumping on is the routers themselves. For the same price you can pick up an 802.11g router that provides decent connect speeds. I would be surprised if they sold out.

I can't believe that's what crashed the server. It's almost midnight Texas time. Maybe they're starting up another woot-off in about 15 minutes.
