We finally had a bottle of that very inexpensive (less than $6) Italian white we got from winestillsoldout a couple of weeks ago. I thought it was really good, very easy to drink--softer than most of the cheap whites we get, not sharp. Nice with food or it would be great in summer. But it will never last till summer.

The only problem that I have had with winestilsoldout.com is if you like the wine there is no way to get more. I have bought a lot of wines from them. So far every wine was better than expected. Out of say 60 bottles I did have 1 with a musty odor and taste but the rest of the same wine was fine. Also I have found when I email them about buying more I do not get a response.

Well, I got a case of this white and we have at least six bottles left (we gave a few away for Xmas). When you come out to Jersey to get your Callahan's hot dog, stop by and you can have a nice bottle to take home.

Anyway, I often have that problem with wine. I've found that if I have something good at a restaurant or party, I need to call around RIGHT AWAY to find it in a store. Otherwise it's gone forever. To me, Winestillsoldout sends the message that "You better get it now if you want it because you'll never see it again!" I don't know if that's their marketing or my own buy-it-now personality.

I hate buying a full case unless I know the wine is good, But each wine I bought from them has been good. I have bought a few cases from them but I split it with Vikingboy. A few of those cases I wish I had not split as those wines were great. I looking for them only to come short.

              Frank,

We opened the Umbria today to accompany our tree decorating (finally). It was really good, and I hate you, again I just ordered 3 of the Brunellos. I had gotten over my good wine 'thing' and was so happy with a Blackstone Merlot or a Rosemont Estate Shiraz... sigh....

When I was in Italy I was bathing in wine. Umbria was just one of my favorite regions. I don't think there is a bad area for wines in Italy. The Brunellos that they just put up are great. I brought back about 8 or 9 bottles of Brunello di Montalcino from Italy. Keep in mind that there are many
Brunello di Montalcino Or Montepulchino. So far I have had the expensive and the cheap. The cheap ones are as good as a top California wine. IMO The expensive ones, well once you try them it's hard to go back to the cheaper ones.
What I generally do is have an expensive or my best wine first. That first glass is the main taste. After 1 or 2 bottles I go to the cheaper wines because once your feeling happy your not going to know the difference since your numbed out.

And a big wine-off coming Monday...

                    Hi ,

Now that you have rested its time to play!

On Monday we will have our first

                    MARATHON MONDAY!

We have a small quantity of some of the finest wines sold and we will put each one up 'til sold out and then replace it with a new wine until the entire lot is gone!

                    GOOD LUCK!

We're now featuring a Azienda Agricola Lohsa Morellino Di Scansano 2002 originally priced at $29.99 and available now for only $16.99. Shipping is free with your order of 4 bottles or more.

From Poliziano, producer of some of the best red wines in Tuscany. A really BRIGHT and lively everyday wine. Great match to last night's Linguini & Clams. It made even my pain-in-the-***- brother in law smile.

                    Cheers,

                    The Customer Service Team
