I'm done..but we/I don't decorate outside. Just a 7' artificial tree and some things up in the house. And I think this will be the last year for us to have a tree...it's getting too much for me to climb up and down the ladder and do it alone. There are no grandchildren so no real reason to work myself to a frazzle. Everything comes down by New Year's Day...during all the football games.

You are done.....man I am a slacker! I took today "off".

I can't see having nothing up for the holidays. Even alone and broke as a teen I had some stuff up. Lots of them were "homemade" but they were christmas-y. <I still have a few of those and they find a place on the tree>

Yeah, I'm done....and done in. It took me three days to get done , with getting DH to get it down, me hauling it in, and setting up the tree, going to our kids for Thanksgiving & trying to get laundry done and the house cleaned. Next week end is way to busy to even try, so it was now or never, and we have company coming Sunday afternoon for a couple of days.

I'm sure there will be some sort of tree next year, but it will be smaller...and already decorated And there will be other things, wreaths, stuff up, but a lot less of climbing ladders and hauling stuff around. And it will make it easier on DH so he doesn't have to get it down or put it up in the attic. (I do miss our basement!)

Well, I'm way behind on decorations. But, I am way ahead in terms of getting gifts. Just got done shopping and I have 3 down. Usually, I wait until the last week. For some reason, I was in the mood for spending some money today.

It must have been that wonderful Thanksgiving dinner yesterday and the 2 huge bowls of turkey soup I had along with my turkey sandwich with mustard.

I'm asking my wife to make some turkey tacos sometime this weekend. mmh, mmh, good. Gotta do something with that 26 pound turkey she cooked yesterday.

I have a hard time with the holiday decorating as I become a real scrooge. That's what working retail does for you. Because of so much clutter in the house I haven't put up a tree in several years. I've discovered a new term for me. (Horder) At one time I collected so much xmas stuff that it was crazy. I have enough ornaments to fill up 4 or more trees but it's so overwhelming I don't know where to start so I just don't do it.

My next door neighbor doesn't decorate either. We go out at night to look at the lights and decorations that others have put up. We enjoy that!! shaggy

OK....I'm getting started. I put on some Christmas music, and made some hot chocolate with whip cream, for everyone. Both my son and daughter are home. So, my son is bringing up the boxes, and my daughter and I are going to begin to decorate the house.

Well we just back very late last night from Va. My wife just brought up the first box containing the outside lights.
