Interesting concept. The cash back is only given as Jellyfish credit, so you are hooked forever until you are finally ready to eat whatever's left in your cash back account...

The way it works is, The cash back is just that you pay full price and then you get the cash back after the retun period has expired. That is in about 2 months, YOu can request it in a check or it can go right into your paypal account.

ok, that's not as bad. Do you file paperwork like with a rebate? I never get 'round to doing that

Okay, I went and looked. It does look like they're talking about cash as in actual money. From the FAQs:

"When do I get my Cash Back?

When you buy a product from the Smack Shopping Deal of the Day, your cash back savings will be posted as Pending in your Jellyfish Account within a few hours. The cash becomes available for you to withdraw after the return period for the product expires (typically 60 days from your order). Each time your approved cash back balance gets above $10, we can mail you a check or transfer the money to your PayPal account."

Is it me or is this a bit hazy? Glitter, where did you see that it's Jellyfish credit rather than real money?

Wacky, I didn't see it anywhere. I got as far as the savings being posted to your Jellyfish account, so this sounds ok if you don't mind paying in full up front.

Frank, this has the potential to be as bad as Woot.

Enh, I just don't find it as enchanting as Woot, for some reason. The Jellyfish people are lame--the Woot forums can be really funny and entertaining.
