  • Best Place to Purchase Coffee Beans

What is the best mail order or internet site to purchase Coffee Beans - quality & cost?

I love Delaware Coffee Roasters on Ebay. They have a good selection of Fair Traded organic beans. Everything is sent via Fedex 2 day and packed in good bags. I just paid $35 (Including Shipping) for a 5 lb bag of Guatemalan HueHueTenango, my favorite (next to Kona, which is just too darned expensive for every day).

Here is a current auction for one pound (not too efficient re shipping, but a good way to try the coffee before you commit to a larger quantity), you can see all the others they sell by looking in the Seller's Store.

When I'm in the mood to spoil myself <or others> I go to Cobblestone Micro-Roastery.

They are family owned, just outside of Annapolis, MD and roast your coffee when you order it.

My favorite is Ethiopian Yirgacheffe but I prefer a strong cup of Joe.

They have a couple of "sampler" packs that they sell too.

      Here is the link: http://www.cobblestonecoffee.com/about.html

If you should decide to order from them; tell Dave that Lawren from Flashback Alternatives sends her regards.

If you like the Ethiopian Yirgacheffe, you prob wouldn't like my HueHue

Nice site, though. Good price on Kona, too.

If you like a real good strong coffee http://www.jrcigar.com/index.cfm?page=coffee_menu There are 2 brands, MonteCristo and Cafe Mayorga. They are both great but like I said these are stonger coffee's than most.

                My husband is a micro-roaster.

I had a little grin when I saw the title of this thread...

His company is The Supreme Bean. They sell to coffee shops around the country, but don't have a full website yet. You can visit their (very minimal) website at www.thesupremebean.com

I drink Kona coffee at home. There are several local producers that you can buy from off the internet.

We drink Peet"s coffee at home. When we travel I always bring one or two ponds with us.
