My New 8 Megapixel Camera (Samsung)

Just received today the Samsung 8 megapixel camera that I bought from WOOT.
Could not resist taking a few high-res pictures before Rita and I (along with Zachary aka the Munchkin) take off for Panama City Beach (Landmark) in the morning.

I agree with Muriel. Great pictures and a beautiful home and I love the space and mature trees you have around you. Enjoy your camera and make many nice pictures next year of the places you visit too.

Are you not supposed to have snow? That would make Christmas look perfect to me. If there is any, please show us more pictures of that too.

Christmas Pictures

Got really carried away last night, when Rita's son, dau-in-law and Zac (the Munchkin) were over for Christmas since Zac leaves with us in a few minutes for Panama City Beach. I took 76 pictures.
I used the normal setting, rather than the TIFF which produces the large megapixel pictures.
The Samsung L85 seems, so far, to be a great camera. Of course the remark was made that I get cameras more often than some people get shoes, but what the heck, technological progress keeps coming down in price (and of course, there is WOOT).
TonyG will attest, having donme me the honor of a visit, that everyone is welcome when coming this way. The problem is, you have to be going to Murray, you don't pass through here on the way to anywhere.
We have had over 150 guests at a time, and the place seemed to handle them o.k. Problem now is, we are seldom here. We get back from Panama City Beach on Dec 30 and leave for the Capitol on Jan 1.
However, no snow in sight for Murray, though it has already snowed early in December in Frankfort (the Capitol).

Yes I will attest to Melvin and Rita's outstanding hospitality and to my great relief there was not a pig in sight. On our way back to the timeshare (VCI) through a more rural area we did see a bobcat (or was it one of them Kentucky wildcats) crossing the road.
