  • Look what Santa Got for Christmas

Yes I played Santa again. I guess I do play a good Santa as I am asked every year. This year my MIL even had me go to her friends house.

Any way Santa got a Real cool Gift this year that he was not expecting. And it is being delivered tomorrow. I just wished she would use shopping.com to compare pricing. Santa could have saved $150 between the tax and the delivery charges.

That is a very nice gift and very logical for you, since you love wine. You made out this year.

Now you can take 102 bottles of wine off the wall.

I am glad you got a Haier. This is a nice brand made in China. My MIL's house back in China is full of them. Merry Christmas!

What a nice present but is it big enough as I have read your wine buying thread?

It really was unexpected. We had gone to Fortunoff a few weeks ago and she saw me looking at the 42 bottle unit which I would have been happy with. I asked her why shy bought the big one and not the smaller unit. She counted the bottles but she stopped counting when she got to over 100 bottles.
I had to make room for it so I cleared the area which now will be more organized. I still have to run an outlet there. For now I will just use an extension cord. I should get it by noon today.

Frank, it is really a very nice present and 102 bottles of wine should be enough because you can always buy more. I showed your other link to my DH because we also like our glass of wine or two but mostly pick it up at trader Joe's. Are these stores back East now too?

Many years ago, they were an adventure to go to and shop there. It was so hit and miss but it was fun. We threw out a lot of bottles of French wine because of the cork but they were inexpensive and they would give you credit too. Their cheeses were from all over Europe too. It is a chain store now.

We once went to a winery where we really liked the wine but having it shipped was so expensive that we only did it once.

There are TJ in NY but none are close by me. The closest one is 30 miles away from me. They do not carry 2 buck Chuck.

BTW I just got the Wine Cellar. Time to fill it up.

Well I got it full and my wife is super happy. We finally cleaned up my mess that I had in the basement. I have it full to the max 90% are all Reds and most of those Italian.

BTW I Christened the wine cellar with one of my better bottles. I dropped a bottle of Ruffino Ducal Gold which is a $40-$45 bottle here in NY.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.
