Taking advantage of Blockbuster

I know there was a Blockbuster.com vs Netfilx.com thread here awhile ago. So here is my 2 cents opinion.

I have been a "happy" in-store Blockbuster customer for years and have been using their online system for about one year.

I had 3 movies from my Blockbuster.com Query in house and I also had 2 movies from my local Blockbuster store that I rented with the free in-store coupons that you get every month.

After watching all 5 movies, I returned the 2 free ones and 3 online ones and was able to check out 3 new ones after they scanned my online returns. Blockbuster will now send the next three movies in my Query today. I was also able to get three free coupons for the "guaranteed movies in store" that were all rented out during the Chirstmas holiday.

Thus, in a 24 hour period I was able to rent:
3 normal online rentals
2 free instore rentals from coupons
3 new instore rentals
3 coupons for use when the guaranteed movies are returned
3 expidited online rentals will be sent to me today

14 total movies in one 24 hour period....wow. I am on movie overload and I doubt Netflix can compete with that.

I just today called to change my online preference for 3 movies at on time to 2. I asked if there are any promos and,
The rep said that

The 3 movies at a time I could get for 6 months at $15.99 instead of $17.99
Or
The 2 movies at a time for 3 months at $12.99 instead of $14.99.

If you want this and you are a customer now just call and ask for one of these promos.

28 HOURS NEEDED!!!!

Now how did you do that in 24 hours!


My answer:

3 were coupons and 3 are in the mail and 5 were already seen, thus only 3 are in hand
