Email Tony a note and include your avatar. He will LOVE you.
Actually, I don't think that is the image that the Sopranos are looking for. Frank.....I think that you need to put back Brando, before they get there.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.
BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.
If they want my house it will be as is with no alterations at all.
Frank, your house sounds like it is beautiful. I don't blame you that you would not want anything changed inside or out. I also remember Beag's story so would ask her too. You are lucky they may not film inside because you would get a lot of wear and tear as there is quite a crew. You wouldn't want your interior messed up even if they pay you a lot for it because you may not be able to replace what you have.
We knew a couple casually who had a house on the water in our marina and they were filming there inside and out for several years. It was a detective story but I can't remember the title. I may look it up. They have moved now because they no longer race their sailboat which was in front of their house.

Bill sent me this a few days back but I was holding on to the other one until the Holiday's passed. Believe it or not I lost my old one when my hard drive crashed and I did not save it when I changed it to the elf.
Personally, I think that the show found out how much loot, wine, Woot Offs, steaks, sandals, BOCs, and other items that are inside Frank's house and want to take a shot of it as the place where the Soprano mob has stored all of its stolen goods. Once they look inside they may think something nefarious is going on.

It's great........This is the kind of Big Frank Avatar that we all know, and love.
BTW....I really liked the elf avatar for the holidays, too. I thought that it was very cute, and filled with holiday spirit. It made me smile, every time that I looked at it.

I have a friend in City Island, and her house was in The Royal Tenenbaums. Location scouts had wanted her house for many different projects over the years and she always said no...but she said yes to this one because she has a thing for Gene Hackman!.
Wacky, do we know each other????
My friend on City Island's house was used in a movie - in fact it was the 'home' for the stars Joe Bologna and Renee Taylor in 1996 "Love is all there is" - they used interiors and exteriors..... http://www.mgm.com/title_title.do?title_star=LOVEISAL
Other City Island locations were used recently for L&O, SVU - they used the school yard of my grammar school, St Mary, Star of the Sea and the homes and yards/waterfront/docks of several of our old neighbors.
They used homes, business and the ferry dock along with Hart Island to film the scarey movie with Michael Douglas and Brittany Murphy - Don't Say A Word . http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0260866/
And Robert Dinero and Robin Williams in Awakenings - filmed at Fordham Hospital but Robin lives in a house on City Island in the movie.
Anyway Frank , that is VERY exciting for you and your family....keep us posted!
It just came to me that they were filming on Grand Ave which was a half mile from here 3-4 weeks ago. There was a major car scene filmed there. This was very close to where they filmed Good Fellows years back. Good Fellows did a lot of filming by the old Spartans Restaurant. After they filmed there I do not believe the restaurant reopened again.

Frank, I sent the avatar to you but I still have it saved. Here it is again.
I don't have HBO so I don't watch the Sopranos. My parents recently moved into Green Hill in West Orange, NJ. It's a retirement/AL/nursing home. Some episodes in the first year or 2 of the Sopranos were filmed there. It was supposed to be the nursing home where Tony?'s mother was. The mother of the Soprano's Producer was actually in the nursing home. She has since died but his mother-in-law is there now. They also have another well known resident-Phil Rizzuto.
Ah, go ahead. It'll be fun. Someday, Little Frank can show his kids where he grew up.
I didn't get much $$$, but it was special just seeing my Southie house in "The Departed". Again, it's the exterior (only) of the house where Leonardo DiCaprio, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, is waiting outside of Martin Sheen's (my) house. That would be mine. The one with the oval stained glass (original to the year built (1899-1900).
Have everyone over for your house's debut !
The movie was just "okay", but my house is up for an Oscar.
If they were to use the inside of my house, I would not allow them to change 1 thing. I have all Porcelain tiles on my first floor and 1 room has a wooden floor in mint condition with a tiny squeak in 1 spot with a Granite fireplace. .......
If they want my house it will be as is with no alterations at all.
Frank,
They used a few houses of people I knew when they were filming Stanley and Iris with R. DeNiro and Jane Fonda. They did change the interior but asked the owners if they wanted it back to the original way.
Maybe you could make that stipulation..."you could use it but, restore it to the original...
